The Collectables group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 11.00am.
Our meetings last just over an hour and cover our interests in collectables of all types – whether vintage curios, mid-century pottery or antique silver that we have in our own homes.
We decide on a different theme each month, for example Wedgwood items, writing implements or anything made of paper. We are always learning something new as we discuss the provenance of the objects we have brought along.
You do not need any expert knowledge, just a curiosity to find out a few facts and share the family history of your pieces.
