December Speaker Meeting – Christmas flowers and quiz
The morning was very successful and everyone wanted to have a go once they saw the array of resources! Luckily the florist was able to accommodate extra participants in the making of table centres. Everyone paid close attention to the step by step instructions and then created their own beautiful table centres, complete with a candle. There was plenty of foliage and greenery to choose from and the room smelt very Christmassy with the spruce, conifer and rosemary.
We had a ‘show and tell’ at the end and all were unique and admired.
I think next year we will need more space! The Christmas Quiz taxed the brain but there was a clear winner who took home the florist’s decoration as their prize.
